The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael PollanMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
I finally just finished The Omnivore's dilemma, I started it well over a year ago. While Michael Pollan is a very talented writer and his book was incredibly interesting...I found some of the book to drag on with too my large words. The author basically follows three different types of meals from start to plate in three separate parts; Industrial, Organic, and Forest. While this book opened my eyes to where my food actually comes from, I found some of the parts disgusting and literally skipped over them. This book challenged my thinking about what I eat. Without giving away the details--I would highly recommend this book to anyone who ever pondered the thought What's for Dinner and wondered where their dinner actually came from.
