Spring Project

Now that warmer weather is arriving, we can finally open up the house and get my kitchen floors done so my remodel will finally be complete! Steve and I have visited many places searching for the right flooring after the one we originally picked out last summer ended up being discontinued...and we finally found what we've been looking for! We are going to purchase a floating engineered hardwood flooring in the color of Appaloosa Trail Oak from Lumber Liquidators in Marne. Click on the link to see the color. Pricing wise there was no huge discount in what we chose compared to full priced big box stores. There were a lot of really cheap samples to look at but but when it comes down to our flooring we wanted what we like no matter the cost. I just can wait in a few weeks to not have to look at this patchwork nasty stained basement carpet remnant and mismatched rug look anymore....

A quote by Rachael to leave you with :"Sometimes you have to wait for what you really want but it makes you appreciate it even more once once you finally have it."
